5.5 Card Recognition Function

The meter will not accept the unknown or illegal card or medium. When amending another customer at original one lost, the meter can accept the new card and reject the original card. 

5.6 Addition Function

The new purchased Credit can be added to the remain Credit in the meter.

5.7 Back Write Function

After inserting the customer card into the meter slot, the meter will write latest information of current accumulated energy, remain Credit and etc, back into the card for the checking by the system operator. 

5.8 Check Function

Support the checking by the Check Card and Reading Card.

5.9 Communication

Meter data can be read via RS485、infrared.The communication address is the same as the later 12 digits of the meter number. The meter support shorten search, AAH is general configure.

5.10 Freeze Function

Meter could freeze the data at zero o’clock at the first day of each month, the data includes energy consumption, amount (CURRENCY), maximum demand, rental days in last 6 months and the time of freezing action.

6.    IC CARD OPERATION

6.1   Meter Initialization

After inserting ‘Preset Card’ to initialize the meter. Only the meter with initialization can be applied to usage with account opening.

6.2    Account Opening

The card for account opening will be inserted into the meter slot, to establish a corresponding relationship between the card and the meter. After account opening, the card will transfer to the customer card, and kept by the user.

6.3    Reissue Card

One meter, one card! The card cannot be exchanged among users. If lost, the user should go the vending station to apply a new one. 

6.4    Purchase Credit

Before Purchase Credit, the user should insert the customer card in the meter slot for getting the latest information. And then transfer the information to the system database when purchasing credit at the vending station.

When inserting card with new purchase credit, “C” will be displayed on the LCD.

If top up success, “SUCC” will be displayed on the LCD, meanwhile with a sound of “DI..”for indication. It will disappear in 3 seconds. If error operation, “Err” and its error code will be displayed on the LCD,meanwhile with a sound of “DIDIDI” for indication.

6.5   Check Card Insert

After successfully inserting Check Card, the information in the meter will be back written into the card, when the LCD finishes the display items of card-inserting display, the LCD will enter the scroll displayd.

9.    Transportation and storage

The meter should not be dropped or be exposed to rain, strong thermal radiation or corrosive during transportation.

The meter should be stored without unpacking in the environment with ambient temperature of -40~ +70 and relative humidity of not more than 75%, and without corrosive gas.

When storing the meter in a warehouse, the meter should be stored on a table, and the stacking height should not be more than 10 packages.
