4.Notes on Installation
1)Before wiring, please review the wiring instructions on the housing, make sure the cable out of phase, neutral (ground) line and wiring diagram on the housing are corresponding with each other. The best way is to introduce it with copper or copper fittings.
2)if the practical power cable is an old cable, you should cut off the end of the cable, ensure that the new thread exposed about 15mm long to prepare wiring; if the cable diameter is between 3mm to 6.5 mm, direct connection to the terminal holes inside, ensure securely fastened; if the cable diameter is less than 3 mm, then you should use a suitably sized copper or aluminum bushing to clamp the end of cable, which will prevent bad wiring and causing the terminal burned.
3)When wiring, first loosen the screws on each post, and then inserted the phase line into the end of wiring hole, then insert the neutral line into the end of terminal wiring hole, fully tighten the screws on each terminal. Similarly insert the outlet phase line into the end of wiring hole, fully tighten the screws on each post. Tightly secured to ensure good contact.
4)Electrify meter and check the operation status of the meter. If the meter is working properly, record the reading. If the meter does not work, double-check the installation and wiring as well as the operating voltage.
5)During the installation process, the operator should handle it gently and carefully, avoid dropping and impact.
6)During the meter installation procedure, the operator should pay attention to electrical safety and prevent accidents.
